Worse than awful

Our group had a large Christmas luncheon planned for 2012. Soon after arriving, they ran out of food. The food that they ran out of was not what we had submitted to them for the menu and had been approved by them. The number of people who were coming to the luncheon had been provided to them at the time they had required. They had no answer for why they ran out of food. The coordinator became quite huffy and told us they were cooking more. That resulted in the toughest meat in the world. It could not be cut with a knife. Part of our guests sat and waited for their over-cooked food while eating over-dressed salad while the rest of the group ate food that anyone would be ashamed of. Later calls to the owner were never returned. I have another friend who had a similar experience a few weeks after ours. Her experience was even worse. Never again
